Tell us about the booking process for on site weddings.
We ask that potential brides contact us via email and include the date of the wedding, whether In Salon or On Location, prep location and the number of hair and makeup services needed.
Once we confirm the date is available, we send the proper contract for the bride to review. The completed contract and $100 wedding deposit are both required to hold the date.
What is the person to service provider ratio?
We require a minimum of (8) services to travel. Whether that is four ladies getting both hair and makeup, or eight ladies just getting one service. We will provide enough stylists to ensure all services are completed. BLEU decides the appropriate timeframe needed to complete the contracted services.
What areas does Bleu cover?
$10 per service if outside the greater GNO area, within 2 hrs (BR)
$20 per service if outside the greater GNO area, further than 2 hrs (MS)
Many of your clients in the salons seem to be celebrating a special occasion, how does this special treatment your stylists are used to giving translate on a wedding day?
A bride and her wedding party are literally the center of our universe that day. A highly skilled and trained Krewe member with no less than a year of experience working at BLEU will provide five star service in the luxury of your home or hotel room.
Is it beneficial to the client that Bleu can provide both hair and makeup?
Through the years, BLEU has had the pleasure with working alongside some of the most talented hair and makeup artists in the area, and we enjoy the sense of community over competition. Entrusting BLEU for both hair and makeup services takes away the pressure of having to coordinate timing and scheduling of multiple service providers. Once that connection is made you can rest assure that making sure everything runs smoothly is our top priority.

In Metairie our salon hosts 6 styling chairs, 3 makeup chairs. The Up Town salon has 9 styling chairs, 3 makeup chairs.
There is a 8 service minimum for travel via our BLEU 2 U | On Location service.
